Ex-Service Personnel Section

At Elmwood Cemetery, we have an entire area dedicated to those who have served our country. Every year we place a Canadian Flag at the grave of all those who have served and renew them for Remembrance Day. In addition to this section, we also have a monument to those who served. Rights holders who consider Elmwood their family cemetery and who have a loved one interred overseas, at sea, or are MIA may have the name inscribed on this monument for a charitable donation.

Winter Burials

At Elmwood Cemetery we do conduct winter burials; which we consider to be from December 1st to May 1st. However, we ask that you please understand in extreme situations we reserve the right to to add a surcharge for extra costs incurred. Depending how extreme the weather is we may need to postpone or delay a winter burial to ensure everyone's safety.

*Vacated Niches*	When a request to remove an Urn from a Niche in a Columbarium that will leave the Niche empty, the cost/price of the replacement door and any engraving, will be determined at the time of request.
